I’ve long wanted to see, on a single page, all the tasks required of me across the multiple Basecamp accounts and projects that I’m a part of. I’m thrilled to announce that now, any user of the 37signals products can do just this. And for good measure, you can see all your Highrise tasks and Backpack reminders on this page as well.

Google Chrome plugin brings autosave to Basecamp

Autosave for Basecamp is a Google Chrome plugin created by digital-telepathy that saves your progress when writing posts in Basecamp in case something unexpected happens.

How many times have you been writing a comment and clicked on a link in the comment thread to reference something and lost your comment in the process? Loose a message because Chrome crashed for one reason or another? Accidentally hit the refresh button?

The Autosave for Basecamp plugin will automatically save your message in real time as your typing it using Chrome's HTML5 local storage technology. Hit the refresh page, write a message and come back to it later, close the browser - your message will still be there!

Peak brings Basecamp to BlackBerry

Peak is a third-party tool that brings Basecamp to the BlackBerry. Developer Ryan Nickel writes:

Use BugDigger to track bugs with Basecamp to-do lists

BugDigger lets you create bug reports at the push of a button — and it integrates with Basecamp.

Track bugs with neatly organized To-Do lists – automatically!

When you report a web application issue via BugDigger, it creates a new To-Do item for the issue, with a comment including the web page URL, environment details and link to a screenshot and other details.

The To-Do item will be added to a list named after the page for which the issue was reported, automatically created by BugDigger.

bcToolkit, Basecamp reporting tool, announces update that fixes issues with moved to-do lists

We recently launched a feature in Basecamp that allows you to move messages, to-do lists, milestones and files from one Basecamp project to another.

When we did that, bits of bcToolkit, a third-party reporting tool that integrates with Basecamp stopped working. Now, bcToolkit has mirrored this functionality. When your projects sync with bcTookit, your to-do list and its time will move from the old project to the new one.

bcTookit's Paul Fabretti says, "You are free to manage your projects anyway you like, add to dos, move to-do lists, delete to-dos and it all ends up in the right place in bcToolkit. The ability to move to-do lists like this is very useful when you decide, part-way through a project, that some of the tasks need to be moved into a separate phase. This can be due to constraints of time, cost or scope. All you need to do is to create the new project, which represents the additional phase, and move the appropriate to-do list over into your new project. The next time bcToolkit syncs with Basecamp your to-do list, all the to-dos and any time recorded to date is moved to the new project."
