The Highrise fans over at Snooth run the world's most comprehensive wine database, featuring millions of reviews and hundreds of thousands of wines. Snooth offers both casual and aspiring wine drinkers personalized wine recommendations, ratings & reviews, as well as a wine information search tool that connects users to the websites of wineries around the world.
Snooth's public relations manager Natalya Murakhver answered some questions about how the team uses Highrise.

How do you use Highrise and why do you like it?
Snooth has a multi-location team (New York, Boston and Belgrade) and Highrise allows simple multi-user access. Highrise contains all our company contacts - each tagged. We cc the dropbox on all (well, most) correspondence so copies are electronically filed by contact. This is a big, and unexpected, feature for us as it makes finding the odd email simple. Highrise also makes it simple to oversee the flow of information across the whole organization.
Which features do you use most?
Dashboard, tags, and contacts.
What did you use before and why did you switch?
We used rolodexes (Snooth is a young company and this is the first such tool we’ve used). However, in previous jobs we’ve used Outlook, Filemaker Pro, and Act. We switched to make it easier to share contacts amongst the entire team, across the three locations.
Get specific. Tell us a story about a project or situation where Highrise helped you kick ass.
We needed to get in touch with all of the wine bloggers we knew. This would normally involve one person starting a list in excel which we’d then pass around until no one had anyone new to add. With Highrise we simply did a multi-tag search, selected “wine” and “blogger”, and then exported the list, ready for mailing.
Any Highrise tips or tricks for other customers?
The dropbox is really Highrise’s unsung feature. Not only does it help us in the search process, but it also allows us to do away with cc’ing each other every 5 minutes. If one of us wants to see who another’s been contacting recently, they can just scroll through the dashboard…its much more efficient than getting cc’ed on emails, the replies, the follow ups, and so on.
