New Backpack feature: Add Anywhere!

Today we launch a new Backpack feature called Add Anywhere.

What does it do?

Add anywhere makes it easy to add the content you want right where you want it.

Why does it do what it does?

Previously you had to add content at the top of the page. Then you could move the note, to-do, file, etc. anywhere you wanted on the page. But you couldn't add content between two items, at the bottom of the page, etc. You had to add it from the top then move it somewhere else. That was a hassle, we agree. Add Anywhere solves that problem.

How does it work?

The secret is the "Add here" control that you'll find when you move your mouse above or below or between two pieces of content on a page. You'll reveal the "Add here" control when your mouse is "in the gutter" to the left of the existing content.
